In between working on getting my newest Angel pattern ready for testing, I’ve been making a few of my Prosperity Angels to give as gifts. This newest variation came about when I saw that I didn’t have enough of the gold metallic crochet cotton left to make a complete angel.
So I crocheted the head, body/dress and arms of the angel in white. Then for the final row of the skirt I switched to the gold metallic. I also crocheted the halo in the gold as well as edging the wings with a row of single crochet all the way around.
The white and gold turned out to be a very pretty combination.
Note: The pattern for the Prosperity Angel is available for purchase through my shop or through ravelry.com.

February 27, 2013 10:40 pmVery pretty – like Wendy, I can actually see it in other colours too — it would make a lovely addition to a baby gift with a pink or blue edging, or for … OH!!! Done with an edging in her bridal party colour, they would make lovely gifts from a bride to her bridesmaids!
