Vintage Embroidery Monday – Pheasant Part #2

Part 2 of the Pheasant embroidery pattern especially brings back memories.

I was about 7 when my Dad brought home an English Setter puppy.  He bought her thinking that he’d raise English setters but that never happened and somehow we attached ourselves to each other and she became my dog.  I called her Patches.   After a bit of searching I found this photo of us from back in the mid-seventies.
