When I saw this I had to smile because to me this style of coffee pot is only vintage in the sense that this style of coffee pot has been around for at least a century or more. For years, Dave and I perked our coffee in a pot just like this. And my parents still use one to perk their coffee every morning.
In the early 2000s we switched to an electric drip coffee maker but we recently purchased an electric peculator like this one. I can’t indulge in coffee very often but when I do… perked coffee is the best!

January 13, 2015 3:28 amMy grandfather had a coffee pot like that but I don’t recall him drinking coffee very often, he was into his gadgets though so I suspect that is why he had it!
