On the Workbasket pattern these adorable little animals were to be added to a bib but I can see them as fun additions to a baby onesie or a little girl’s dress or apron as well.
The pattern is available to download as a pdf here.
Have fun stitching!

April 15, 2013 10:30 pmWhen I was growing up, I had a subscription to the Workbasket. I loved that little magazine and now wish I still had them. I swear, I almost remember these particular designs! That is probably just wishful thinking. 🙂

April 15, 2013 7:59 amThese take me back! As a member of Junior Auxilary in the Anglican Church, I learned to embroider these onto baby bibs destined for the mission bales. I probably owe some baby in some part of the world a huge apology for the “gift” of my beginner efforts. But, I have very fond memories of the lovely woman who taught me. Thanks for posting these, Sue!
