Sources for Sew-In Coin Purse Frames

I’ve had a few comments and e-mails asking for information about where to buy the sew-in coin purse frames.

The half-circle frames I used for most of my coin purses I bought at Quilt-A-Bag in Markham, ON.

The last time I was at Red Hen Fabrics in Atlanta, they had several different sizes and styles of purse frames, so if you’re in that area, perhaps give them a call to see if they are still stocking them.

The 3” rectangular frame that I used for the pattern provided for the UR Priceless Blog Hop came from Joann Fabric and Craft Stores in the US.   Look for packages like this in their bag making supply section:

Many of the ladies who took part in the blog hop ordered their frames from either Quilt Taffy or  I Have a Notion.

TheaM over at grannygoodstuff purchased two of her frames from LACI’s.  (I especially like the copper one she used.)

If you search etsy and ebay, you’ll also find several shops selling frames.   The majority of these shops ship from China but you will find other sellers as well.

For instance, Sugar Carousel is based in Toronto, ON. (I haven’t purchased from them yet, but I did get a quick response when I made an inquiry about one of their frames.)

So there’s a starter list for anyone wanting to make one or a few coin purses.

If any of my readers know of other coin purse frame resources, please mention it in the comments and I’ll add them to the list.

I would be so pleased if you chose to share by clicking on one of the buttons below!
