This pretty Garden Path Quilt block was designed for my month of the In Our Garden BOM (Block of the Month.)
When designing it, I visualized four stone and gravel paths coming together with a fountain in the center.
The four dark grey corner blocks represent the gardens (or lawn if you were to make those in green.)
The medium grey is the stone path while the light grey is where the path transitions to gravel.
The square in the very center is the fountain.
You don’t need to worry about cutting off those points when sewing the blocks together. The path blocks have been designed in such a way that the points are well outside the seam allowance.
You may also notice that it’s also makes a beautiful star block.
It’s super easy to sew with step-by-step instructions with lots of detailed photos.
It will look stunning done in a wide variety of fabric combinations. In the photo below, it’s been done in blue and white.
