Back in Florida for the Winter

Dave’s work is seasonal in Canada so now that winter has arrived, we headed south to spend the winter in Florida again this year. We’re staying in the same lovely one bedroom apartment that we had last winter… when we arrived on Friday it almost felt like we were coming home.

Tonight we’re celebrating our birthdays. We usually treat ourselves to a meal at a nice restaurant but instead we’re staying in. On the menu:  Baked Oysters, Steamed Lobster, Sourdough Bread and a bottle of Lindman’s Moscato. Then for our birthday cake we’re having cheesecake!
